Easy Spring Craft: Paper Bead Affirmation Necklaces

Springtime is the perfect time for girls to get excited about new growth and new opportunities. This easy Spring craft is super fun, and you probably already have all the supplies on hand.
Here’s what you’ll need:
- Markers, crayons, or coloring pencils
- White copy paper
- Glue stick
- Scissors
- Ruler or straight edge
- Pencil
- String or yarn
How to make your Paper Bead Necklace
Step 1: Use your ruler or straight edge to draw your bead pattern on your paper. One end should be wider than the other.
Step 2: Turn your paper over. Use the markers to create a color design for your beads. Be sure to fill up the paper with as much color as possible.
Step 3: Cut your bead pattern out. You now have triangle strips of paper.
Step 4: Use a marker to write an affirmation on each strip.
Step 5: Take the wider side of a triangle strip and roll the strip around a pencil. Use your glue to secure the bead while rolling the strip. Then secure the end with your glue and slide the bead off the pencil.
Step 6: Once all your beads are rolled up, string them on your yarn or string to make a bracelet or necklace.
Step 7: Tie the ends together.
