End of Summer Vision Board to Inspire Girl’s Goals and Dreams
AUGUST 8TH, 2023
It’s back-to-school season, and there is no better way to wrap up the summer than to create an end-of-summer vision board to inspire girls’ goals and dreams. What is a Vision Board? A vision board is a collage of images, pictures, and words designed to help envision your future goals and dreams. We are taking this project one step further and also encouraging girls to reflect on the best parts of summer while completing their poster.
Here’s what you’ll need:
- Cardstock/Construction paper
- Tissue Paper
- Elmer’s Glue
- Paint Brush or sponge
- Magazine or pictures
- Letter stickers (optional)
How To Make Your End of Summer Vision Board:
Step 1: Start by tearing or cutting your tissue paper into small pieces.
Step 2: Then paint or sponge glue onto your piece of cardstock. You can also use construction paper.
Step 3: Place your tissue paper pieces on the cardstock to make a colorful design. Let it dry.
Step 4: While your design is drying, think and talk about your favorite part of summer. You can also think about the new school year and set goals for making new friends or working on a new skill or hobby.
Step 5: Cut your pictures out of the magazine and gather your pictures.
Step 6: After your cardstock is dry, you can arrange and glue your pictures from a magazine and create words with letter stickers that encourage creators to think about the power of positive visualization and what they aspire for in the new school year.
