Friendship Loom Bracelets

Bracelets can be so much more than a stylish accessory; they can also serve as meaningful symbols of love and friendship! Whether your daughter is hanging out with her besties or looking for a fun project to do on her own, these DIY friendship bracelets are the perfect boredom buster. Let's dive in and create bracelets that will make friendships shine bright!
Here’s what you’ll need:
- 7 (25 inch) strings of yarn
- Scissors
- Cardboard
- Marker
How To Make Your Loom Bracelets:
Step 1: Trace a circle onto a piece of cardboard. (Part of an old box works fine.)
Step 2: Cut the circle out.
Step 3: Make eight lines around the circle. (They don’t need to be perfect.)
Step 4: Cut a notch on each line of the cardboard circle.
Step 5: Cut 7 pieces of yarn about 25 inches long. We used three different colors, but you can use as many colors as you like.
Step 6: Place your pieces of yarn together and tie a knot.
Step 7: Cut a small hole out of the center of the circle.
Step 8: Thread the yarn through the hole. The knot will stop it from going all the way through.
Step 9: Place one piece of yarn into each of the seven notches. Leave one notch empty.
Step 10: Use a marker to label each notch. The empty notch should be notch zero.
Step 11: Count three notches from zero. Take the thread out of the notch and place it to the empty notch. Then turn your circle so the empty notch is on the bottom and repeat until your yarn runs short. Pull the bracelet down as you thread the yarn.
Step 12: Leave enough yarn at the end to secure the bracelet. Tie a knot at the end so it doesn’t come unravelled. Cut the loose ends of the yarn.
