Sidewalk Chalk Paint Murals

Sidewalk chalk murals are a perfect summer art project for kids! With just a few ingredients, you can make sidewalk chalk paint, and bring art outdoors. This is a great way to express creativity, develop fine motor skills, and enjoy the beautiful summer weather. Plus, these murals are sure to bring joy to everyone who walks by.
Here’s what you’ll need:
• ¼ cup of flour for each color
• ¼ cup of water for each color
• ¼ cup of shaving cream for each color
• ½ stick of sidewalk chalk of each color
• Grater
• Mixing spoon
• Small bowl
• Squeeze bottle (an empty ketchup or mustard bottle can also work) for each color
• Funnel (helpful, but not a must-have)
• Blue painters tape
• ¼ cup of water for each color

How to make your Paint Mural:
Step 1: Follow the steps on how to make our Puffy Sidewalk Paint.
Step 2: Use the blue tape to section a part of the sidewalk off in the shape you want the mural to be.
Step 3: Use the tape to make geometric shapes inside the mural.
Step 4: Paint to color each shape inside the mural.
Step 5: Let the mural dry and then peel the tape off to see your final work of art.
These murals can be done to celebrate birthdays, holidays, or just for fun. The color will wash off in the rain, and then you can start over with a new creation!
