This activity combines art and science for a fun, simple activity to keep you busy during the long winter months. Plus, it’s both fun and educational! So, grab some everyday materials, and let's make our own snow magic!

Here’s what you’ll need:

- Baby Oil
- White Washable Paint
- Alka-Seltzer Tablets
- Large Clear Jar
- Small bowl
- Glitter
- Water
How To Make A Snowstorm In A Jar:
Step 1: Pour one cup of water into a jar.

Step 2: Add one teaspoon of white paint and mix it into the water.

Step 3: Add the baby oil until it almost reaches the top of the jar. Leave about an inch or so unfilled.

Step 4: Sprinkle some glitter on top of the mixture. (You can also mix the glitter with the paint in step 2!)

Step 5: Break a few Alka-Seltzer tablets into pieces. The more pieces the stronger the storm.
Step 6: Drop in the tablet pieces and watch your storm!

Repeat this activity multiple times! Use different amounts of Alka-Seltzer each time, and challenge your daughter to predict how strong the storm will be.
