Summer Craft: Geometric Bubble Wands

These homemade geometric bubble wands make such a fun summer activity! Girls can build their wands to whatever shapes they prefer, and then use them outside for endless bubble fun all summer long.
Here’s what you’ll need:
- Pipe cleaners
- Pony Beads
- Glue Gun
- Hot Glue
- Bubbles
How To Make Your Bubble Wands:
Step 1: Take a pipe cleaner and make a loop and secure it by twisting the end around the pipe cleaner.
Step 2: Now pinch and manipulate the loop into the geometric shape of your choice. We pinched the pipe cleaner to make corners for the rectangle and star.
Step 3: Choose the pony bead colors you would like for the handle of your wand and slide them onto the end of the pipe cleaner. We used about 17 beads.
Step 4: Then tie the end of the pipe cleaner to secure the beads.
Step 5: Optional: We used hot glue on the end to make sure the beads did not slide off. They will stay with your knot at the end too!
Step 6: Pour bubbles into a bowl or cup and dip your wands and blow bubbles.
Crafters can make predictions if their bubbles will blow in the shape of their wands, and then blow the bubbles to find out if their prediction was correct. (Spoiler: Bubbles always blow in circles because of surface tension).
