Shaving Cream Marble Paint Valentines

Valentine’s Day is right around the corner, and we’re celebrating by making homemade valentines! These valentines are the perfect craft for girls to have some fun, express their creativity, and show love to the people around them. Start by working with your daughter to brainstorm a list of people they would like to give Valentines to, then grab your materials and start crafting!

Here’s what you’ll need:

Tray or cookie sheet
Foamy shaving cream
Washable paint (2-3 colors)
Card stock
Scissors
Pencil
Paper
Spoon
Markers

How To Make A Valentines:

Step 1: Fold the paper in half to create a template for the valentines.

Step 2: Draw half of a heart starting on the crease of the paper. This way you can make sure your heart is symmetrical.

Step 3: Use your scissors to cut out the heart half, then unfold to see the full heart template.

Step 4: Now use the template to trace a heart onto the cardstock.

Step 5: Cut the new heart out and set it aside.

Step 6: Prepare the tray by spraying a layer of shaving cream in it. Make sure to give the can of shaving cream a good shake.

Step 7: Top it off with some paint.

Step 8: Take the spoon and flip it upside down to marble the paint into the shaving cream.

Step 9: Lay the cardstock heart on top of the marbled shaving cream and push down lightly.

Step 10: Pick up the cardstock heart and lay it down to squeegee the extra shaving cream and paint off. We laid a poster board down for easier cleanup!
